Full Time Now

Since the Fall of 2008 I have been working part-time with Our GV building a business so that if I lost my full time job I would have something to fall back on. Well I was laid off last week (for the second time in less than 8 years) and while my former co-workers who were also let go are still recuperating I went immediately into working full time with Our GV. My head is still clearing but it feels so great to be doing something that is building my future rather than licking my wounds and wallowing in the past. While informing colleagues of my situation I was also able to gain Non Profit contacts and positive feedback as many were encouraged to hear that I was immediately moving forward.

The strong encouragement from Ms. Ionescu and Mr. Schapiro to see this situation as a gift to more fully change my life was invaluable. As always they were consistent and pushed me to act when I might have floundered for a bit. Not enough words to say thanks and enjoying the new challenges that come with going to the next level.

I was laid off last May for the very first time in my career history (40 years)
I now count that a blessing. Like you, I now have the freedom to build my business from anywhere without the fear of having to lose another job. Thanks to all our leaders who have mentored and motivated us.
